All applicants must:
  1. Complete an Application for Admission form.
  2. Provide official transcripts, statement of marks or letter of standing. It is useful to submit these with the application form, as testing may not be required and it may speed up the processing of your application.

    Official transcripts for high school education completed in Alberta can be obtained through:

OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTS
Former students applying to return to the College must pay outstanding accounts in full before their application will be reviewed or accepted

TUITION REFUNDS
A student enrolled in a full-time credit program or course, who withdraws after completing 20% or less of the program or course, may receive a 75% refund minus a $25.00 administration fee. If a student withdraws after completing more than 20%, no refund will be given. Tuition deposits for career pograms are non-refundable.

FINANCIAL AID
Various funding agencies or government may provide financial assistance to adults enrolled at Portage College. Anyone requiring help in determining eligibility should contact a Student Financial Aid Advisor at:

COUNSELING SERVICES
A wide variety of services are available to assist clients with educational, academic, career, vocational and personal counseling issues. Anyone requiring assistance or more information on services should contact a College counselor at:

STUDENT ACCOMMODATIONS
On-campus accommodation for out-of-town students is available in Lac La Biche. Residences (with double occupancy) are available for single students and town houses (2 - 4 bedrooms) are available for families. CHILD CARE CENTRE
On-campus child care is available for children from birth to school age (5 years). The Satellite Family Day Home Agency provides child care services to children, up to the age of 6 years, through the use of private homes in Lac La Biche and the surrounding areas.
