Distance Education and Blended Learning Opportunities Portage College offers students access to a variety of learning opportunities through distance education and blended learning experiences. Our distance programming includes courses that are delivered fully online via the internet, as well as through a blending of face-to-face and online and/or video conferencing. Portage College is continually expanding its course and program offerings, responding to the needs of communities. Using different delivery methods allows the College to provide programs to numerous sites, reaching more students in more communities. At Portage College, we want to prepare each of our students with the skills and attitude necessary to become life-long learners. Blended course delivery methods expand learning opportunities and assist in the development of technology skills that will help the student continue on their learning path after graduation from our college.
